The Medieval Village
Our ancient settlement dating back one thousand years has many small but fascinating masterpieces. At the small church is a rare lifesize colour photocopy of the Holy Shroud. The relic was restored in 1985 by Giovanni Battista Cordiglia and donated by the Savoy family (the original owner since 1453) to the pastor of the parish church of Il Borro, Don Pasquale Mencattini.
Visit the famous Nativity scene with mechanized characters, a minor miracle that will excite young and old, one of the most popular attractions at Il Borro.
A cultural tour of the estate cannot omit a visit to the workshops of the artisans of Il Borro. Our artisans bring to life the unique crafts and traditional skills so fundamental to the history of Il Borro. Artisans opening time here.
The exhibition and the Nativity scene can be reserved at: +39 055 9772921; Mob. +39 366 5601139; email: firstname.lastname@example.org“
