The Historic House
The Mansion Il Borro is located in the heart of the Estate, its grand building elegantly dominating the entire medieval village. Rich in history, built during 1854 by the Hohenlohe Waldenburg family, then sold in the early 1900s to Duke Amedeo d’Aosta and finally in 1993 to Ferruccio Ferragamo. Important and meticulous restoration works have brought it back to its ancient splendor, enhancing the authentic materials and architectural style typical of Tuscan villas of the 1800s. Today the Dimora is an exclusive location for V.I.P., large families, events or meetings, with 10 rooms with en suite bathrooms, meeting room, dining room, studio, heated indoor pool, gym, billiard room and sauna. All suites are distinguished by unique features such as a four-poster bed and oriental wallpaper in the Royal Suite. A residential staff will always be at guests’ disposal to ensure exclusive and highly personalized service.
The Historic Mansion is also available for only six rooms.
