Il Borro was among the leading participants at Ponte di Vini, the exclusive event held on 22 July 2026 to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Valdarno di Sopra DOC in the spectacular setting of the Ponte della Gioconda in Ponte Buriano. This unique occasion brought together the region’s finest producers for a journey through wine, haute cuisine, culture and philanthropy, showcasing the authentic spirit of one of Italy’s most innovative appellations—the first composed predominantly of organically certified wineries.
A long-standing ambassador of the Valdarno di Sopra territory, Il Borro shared its vision of sustainable agriculture and exceptional hospitality, presenting the values that have guided the Ferragamo family for more than thirty years: respect for the land, protection of biodiversity and the enhancement of local production. On this special occasion, these values were also combined with a commitment to giving back, through support of Meyer Children’s Hospital Foundation project for innovation and 3D surgery.
Il Borro’s gastronomic experience began with a selection of organic products sourced directly from the estate, followed by an exclusive dish created by Executive Chef Andrea Campani, embodying the estate’s signature farm-to-table philosophy. The culinary journey was paired with three of the winery’s flagship labels—Bolle di Borro Metodo Classico Brut Rosé 2018, Polissena Valdarno di Sopra DOC 2020, and Vin Santo del Chianti Occhio di Pernice 2018—authentic expressions of a territory that continues to stand out for its quality, identity and spirit of innovation.
