Montevarchi, May 13, 2025
During the 2025 edition of TDLAB, the national convention organized by Terziario Donna Confcommercio, held at Palazzo del Podestà in Montevarchi on May 12–13, Vittoria Ferragamo took the stage to share Il Borro’s exemplary approach to sustainability.

The TDLAB, a key event for women entrepreneurs across Italy, focused this year on the theme “Economy in Motion: The Frontiers of the Future.” It brought together thought leaders and businesswomen to explore how global geopolitical and economic shifts are reshaping the future of enterprise.
Vittoria Ferragamo, Head of Sustainability and Special Projects at Il Borro, was among the featured speakers during the closing session. In her talk, she shared Il Borro’s journey as a sustainable estate and its ongoing efforts to combine innovation, environmental responsibility, and community engagement.
“We have chosen to make the balance between humans and nature our guiding principle,” said Ferragamo. “For Il Borro, sustainability is not a one-time initiative, but an ethos that informs every aspect of what we do – from organic farming and heritage preservation to energy efficiency and environmental education.”
Her remarks offered a powerful real-world example of what sustainable entrepreneurship looks like in practice and reinforced Il Borro’s position as a leader in responsible hospitality and agriculture.
With over 100 female entrepreneurs in attendance, along with institutional representatives, academics, and experts, TDLAB 2025 served as a vibrant platform for mapping out strategies for a more conscious and resilient future.
