Renowned wine critic James Suckling has awarded 97/100 to Il Borro 2021, our flagship wine, describing it as “exciting” for its aromas of orange peel, violet, currant, and a hint of graphite. An elegant wine, with ultra-fine tannins and a fresh, precise finish, it is made from grapes grown according to the principles of organic farming.
Equally remarkable is Polissena 2021, our 100% Sangiovese, which received an excellent score of 95/100. An intense yet well-balanced wine, it offers aromas of red cherry, fresh leaves, flowers, and licorice. On the palate, it stands out for its density, structure, and ripe yet elegant tannins, with a vibrant finish.
