The lively peach colour of Rosé del Borro already indicates its fresh scents and flavour. To the nose it indicates white flowers and fresh fruits. Tasting, one observes the well-balanced acidity and small red fruits flavour.
Rosé del Borro is an excellent companion for fish-based dishes and light first courses. Drink chilled to 10-12 degrees Celcius, ideal at aperitivo time. This rosé is part of the winery’s organic conversion that began in 2012, and is one of three new organic wines (the other two are Borrigiano: 35% Syrah, 40% Merlot, 25% Sangiovese; and Petruna: 100% Sangiovese aged in terracotta amphorae). Since 2012 Il Borro has been managing the vines following the organic method, eliminating chemicals and developing biodynamic procedures to increase the sustainability of the land and of the product.
