Il Borro, September 2022 Petruna in Anfora 2019, a tribute to the wine making tradition and purity of Sangiovese, receives the Crown from Vinibuoni d’Italia, a token to the excellence of this wine. This light and complexe red wine is made with 100% Sangiovese grapes and using only terracotta amphorae. Ruby red in colour, the Petruna in Anfora 2019 is crisp, fragrant and flavourful in the mouth. It pairs excellently with meat based traditional Tuscan dishes, with bread and legume soups, with matured and blue veined cheeses.
