The awarded wines are: Il Borro – The flagship wine of our company, composed of 50% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 15% Syrah. Il Borro is a full-bodied, elegant wine that perfectly combines refinement and structure. It is characterized by a dark red color with purple reflections and an intense aroma with notes of undergrowth and aromas of cocoa and sweet tobacco. The taste is dry, with soft tannins and a velvety finish. It pairs perfectly with Tuscan specialties based on meat, aged cheeses, well-structured meat dishes like braised meats, braised beef cheeks, stewed wild boar, and Florentine steak. Polissena – An act of love towards one of Tuscany’s most representative grape varieties: Sangiovese. Polissena is a structured, full-bodied, and balanced red. It has an intense ruby red color and an aroma that opens with hints of black cherry and peony, followed by notes of wood, juniper, black pepper, licorice, and rhubarb. The taste is balanced, with elegant tannins and an elegant finish that leaves the mouth perfectly clean. On the palate, it is rich, complex, powerful, balanced, with elegant tannins.
