Sustainability begins in 2012 when Il Borro starts the conversion from conventional to organic agriculture. A change in direction based the respect for nature and cultivation cycles.

Our Organic Garden respects the season’s cycles, the natural balances and safeguards the local seed and cultivation traditions that produce genuine and varied crops. There are over 100 beehives on the estate which serve not only to produce organic honey but also to sustain the flora’s biodiversity,
