Petruna
Have you ever tasted a wine vinified in an amphora?
It is a very ancient technique known since Etruscan times and recently rediscovered for its natural charachteristics. The amphora is made of terracotta, a sustainable and durable material with an ideal porosity for the micro-oxygenation of the wine and for keeping the organoleptic notes intact. Petruna, a pure Sangiovese, is a wine that recalls the past and the Tuscan winemaking culture, and is exclusively fermented in terracotta amphorae from Impruneta (FI). Maceration takes place on the skins for 12 months, during which the interaction with clay and micro-oxygenation determine its balance and minerality.
