Il Borro & Bocconi University
Il Borro, December 2023 Il Borro Toscana is delighted to share the recent project undertaken in collaboration with the XXXIX MiMeC Master’s program at Bocconi University. Our company had the privilege of involving students in a targeted case study aimed at exploring and delving into various key aspects of our industry. The project was structured into three segments, each focusing on a specific dimension of our business: Hospitality, Food and Catering, and Wine and Cellar. This division allowed students to concentrate on specific areas, thoroughly examining the dynamics and challenges that characterize each sector. A key element of the project was the formation of 10 student groups, each dedicated to one of the three main themes. This allowed for a variety of perspectives and innovative approaches to our business reality. In particular, we were excited to see how students enthusiastically tackled the central theme of the Farm to Table philosophy and understood how we could enhance the communication of our commitment to sustainability. The collaboration with the Master’s program has been extremely beneficial for both parties. Students had the opportunity to apply their academic skills in a practical context, while Borro Tuscany benefited from the freshness of ideas and perspectives from a new generation of talents.
